The Miss Hoyt Lakes Contest is a Chamber of Commerce event held in conjunction with the Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival each year. The Queen Coronation is held in the parking lot of the Hoyt Lakes Shopping Center at 6:00 p.m. .

 To help celebrate the 50th Anniversary, all the former queens have been invited to this year's celebration. They will be honored at a luncheon on Friday and will be participating in the Miss Hoyt Lakes Queen Contest on Friday night. They will also be on a float in the parade on Saturday.
